The Inventory I position supports inventory management of customer
products. He/She coordinates, conducts, and helps manage physical
inventories. This position handles customer product relocations and
resolves customer issues. He/She supports operational process writing
and provides inventory training.

COORDINATES PHYSICAL INVENTORIES

- Reviews customer contractual metrics to ensure compliance and
remedy deficiencies.
- Evaluates recorded customer product inventory to ensure accurate
categorization and determine UPS's liability exposures (e.g.,
missing and damaged products, etc).
- Coordinates physical inventory activities (e.g., schedules,
supplies, communications, planning, etc.) to prepare for customer
product inventory audits.
- Develops inventory count methodologies to outline
inventory procedures.
- Manages physical inventories to ensure accurate and
timely completion.
- Evaluates inventory audit results to identify and
reconcile variances.

ORGANIZES CUSTOMER PRODUCT RELOCATIONS

- Analyzes customer product move requirements to identify ideal
methods of movement and needed resources.
- Develops project plans to facilitate customer product moves and to
mitigate and eliminate operational interruptions.
- Coordinates customer product moves to ensure successful execution.
- Tracks customer products in transit during relocations to maintain
quality levels and limit claims liability.

SUPPORTS ANALYSES OF OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES AND MHN CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

- Compares contractual requirements with daily operational performance
metrics to identify deficiencies.
- Audits performed operational processes to identify deviations to
written processes.
- Develops corrective action plans to resolve inventory deficiencies.
- Monitors performance after corrective plans are implemented to
verify improved performance and acceptable quality levels.

WRITES OPERATIONAL PROCESSES AND SUPPORTS OPERATIONAL TRAINING

- Participates in planning discussions with management to obtain
customer needs requiring new operational processes.
- Assist with operational process writing to outline work instructions
and procedures.
- Assists with operational training to improve performance.
